Halloween Fun Quilt Blocks

Get ready to summon some spooky charm into your home with this frightfully fun embroidery class! We’re brewing up Halloween-themed quilt blocks that are perfect for adding a festive touch to any room—whether you're decorating for trick-or-treaters or just love a good ghostly vibe.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to create quilted backgrounds using Design Center or IQ Designer, then bring your blocks to life with the Halloween appliqué of your choice—think pumpkins, bats, black cats, or whatever gives you goosebumps (the fun kind!).

What you’ll learn:

• Preparing quilt backgrounds with built-in design tools
• Adding and customizing spooky appliqués
• Tips for layout and creative block design
• You’ll stitch up as many blocks as time allows, and take your eerie masterpieces home to assemble at your own pace. Come for the stitching, stay for the thrills—and leave with hauntingly beautiful creations!

You will need to provide:

• Fabric – for backgrounds and applique
• Batting – cotton or 80/20 blend work well
• Fusible backing - We like SF101.  This is used on all backgrounds and appliques.
• Thread
• Mesh Stabilizer
