Crazy Quilted Serger Pillow

If you have lots of scraps in a basket waiting to be used this is the project for you!  Make this pillow using a flatlock, ladder or blanket stitch on your serger.  The crazy quilting is achieved by cutting fabrics into different shapes.  This technique can be used to make a variety of projects.  So, gather up your scraps (6-8 colors) and join us in making this fun pillow. We will be making the 8 inch pillow.  The class cost includes the pattern, pillow form and decorative thread.

Materials needed:

• Serger capable of doing a Flatlock, Ladder or Blanket stitch
• 1 spool of serger thread that coordinates with fabrics
• 6-8 colors of cotton fabrics roughly ¼ yard each
• ½ yard of fusible interfacing (we recommend Shape Flex – SF101)
• ½ yard Backing fabric
