In-The-Hoop Phone Wristlet

Whip up this hand wristlet to hold you phone, keys, cards and more.  The front features a pretty monogrammed flap, opening to a fully lined pocket to hold your phone.  The back features a zipper along the length of the case to secure cash and other valuables.   Our sample was made as a crossbody bag instead of a wristlet.  You can do it either way.  This project is done completely in the hoop.

The large size fits up to a 7.5” x 3.5” phone!

An embroidery machine will be provided for this class.

Materials Needed:

• Thread, including bobbin.
• Stabilizer (mesh for two hooping’s, 6 x 10 and 5 x 7)
• Monogrammed Phone Wristlet pattern (available at Schiller’s for $23.00)
• Fabric 1: Flap and lining – ¼ yard
• Fabric 2:  Applique – Scrap fabric
• Fabric 3:  Front pocket and Back – 1/3 yard
• Crossbody Strap – Two 3” x WOF
• Wristlet Strap – “2 x 16”
• Zipper 12” or longer
• Fusible Webbing  (we used Shape Flex)
• Fusible Fleece
• Snap or choice of closure on flap
• Hardware for wristlet or crossbody strap
